Caerfai Beach, a small rocky cove nestled between spectacular cliffs, is a popular destination for those seeking a tranquil and scenic spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Welsh coastline. .

Caerfai Beach is located a mile from St David's, a small town in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The beach can be accessed via a steep and winding cliff path, which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The beach forms part of the Heritage Coast and is situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The beach at Caerfai Bay is a small rocky cove with a sandy beach revealed at low tide. The beach faces south-west out into the Atlantic Ocean and is backed by sandstone cliffs. At high tide, the beach is very small due to the cliff formation, but at low tide, it becomes much larger and wider. The beach is comprised of sand and pebbles, with the pebble bank situated above the high tide mark.

The bay and coastal waters form part of the Pembrokeshire Marine Special Area of Conservation and are also designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This confirms the high conservation status of the area, which is home to a diverse range of marine life.

There are no amenities or facilities at the beach itself, including no lifeguard, so visitors should exercise caution when swimming due to strong and changeable currents. However, the nearby town of St David's offers a range of facilities, including hotels, dining options, and caravan parks. Visitors can also explore St David's Cathedral, the scenic River Alun, and the National Park Visitor Centre.

The beach at Caerfai Bay is popular with sun-seekers during the summer months, and its sheltered location makes it an ideal spot for families. The beach is also known for its rock formations, which include stones of every hue, particularly pinks and greens. At low tide, the waters are shallow and a distance from the shore front, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for swimming and water activities.

Caerfai Beach is adjacent to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
