Ainsdale Beach is a wide, sandy beach located on the Sefton coastline in North West England. The beach is backed by sand dunes and a Local Nature Reserve, and it has a large expanse of sand throughout the tidal cycle, with a very shallow profile. A holiday park and boating lake are situated immediately behind the beach.

Ainsdale Beach is regarded as one of the best beaches in the area and has been awarded a Blue Flag, as well as a Quality Coast Award, ensuring clean water and plenty of facilities. The beach is a haven for extreme kite-based activities, with zones set aside for kite buggy and landboard use, while kitesurfing takes place in the sea. The Ainsdale and Birkdale Sandhills Local Nature Reserve covers 988 hectares of open dunes and beach and is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Lifeguards are on duty each year between Easter and September. A café and bar at the end of Shore Road near the beach offer snacks, meals, and ice cream. The beach is dog-friendly all year round, however, there is a dog-free area 200m either side of the main beach entrance and to the tide line.
